
Founded in 2001 by former University of California, Berkeley student athlete and retired NBA player Sacramento Kings’ Forward and current Sacramento Kings’ Assistant Coach, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, the Future Foundation is an Atlanta - based non-profit organization that offers free academic, physical, social and development enrichment programs to youth ages nine to 18.
Delicia Abdur-Rahim is a board member of the Future Foundation. The Oakland native received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1997. She received her Juris Doctor from the Santa Clara School of Law in 2002.

The primary goal of the Effective Teachers for Oakland Task Force is to provide Oakland Youngsters with permanent, racially, culturally and linguistically diverse teachers from the Oakland community.
Oakland native, Nyeisha Dewitt is an active member of the Effective Teachers for Oakland Task Force. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1997. Nyeisha later earned her Master’s degree in Education from the University of San Francisco (USF), in 2003. She is currently a doctoral candidate at USF, in the Leadership Studies program.

The Lost Ones is an Atlanta non-profit organization created by Tameka Raymond to raise the self-esteem of at-risk young women ages 12-18.
Tameka is an Oakland native who studied marketing at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Since attending FIDM, she has become one of the most sought after celebrity stylist in the industry.
